The North Metro Midwives, P.A. is a private CNM owned practice providing outstanding women's health care throughout the life spectrum. As a CNM owned practice North Metro offers a focused commitment to the midwifery philosophy and women's health.
 Kathrine Simon, CNM MS, president and owner, is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Nursing, Masters of Science, and is certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives. Kathrine has had a life long passion for nursing and midwifery and is driven to offer her patients the personal caring commitment of midwifery. I am the mother of three energetic children and married to a wonderful man who supports my every endeavor.
Laurie S. MA clinic lead. Laurie joined us in 2009. She relocated here from Arizona. Laurie always has a smile and the answer to your questions. She keeps our clinic running with peak efficiency. She is also the mother of four beautiful girls and one boy. Please check back for pictures.

Our staff believes that our role is to help women maintain healthy lives and pregnancies. In building relationships with women, we have the unique opportunity and privilege to help women find their own internal strength and resources. Midwifery is the balance between these relationships, technology, and most importantly, caring for each woman as the individual she is.
North Metro Midwives has privileges with North Memorial Medical Center and Maple Grove Hospital. North Memorial has been a critical supporter of North Metro Midwives and offers state of the art facilities at both locations.
